A small, peaceful mixed fishery located just outside the village of Bradley, Little Gem is the newest addition to our waters, acquired in 2023. Since then, it has quickly become a favourite among anglers of all abilities thanks to its relaxed atmosphere and reliable sport. There is a good number of pegs around the perimeter of the pool which are currently in the process of being refurbished.

The pool holds a strong head of silver fish, including roach, rudd, perch, gudgeon, and skimmer bream. Complemented by a healthy stock of F1s, common and mirror carp, with the largest fish reaching double figures.

Pole fishing is especially popular here, offering steady action throughout the year, while rod‑and‑line anglers also enjoy success using both float and light ledger tactics.

Maggots, casters, sweetcorn, bread punch, and pellets all perform well, making Little Gem a versatile and rewarding venue for pleasure anglers, families and those looking to sharpen their skills.

This pool fishes best in the warmer months with the fish being especially active during the morning and evenings, making it a popular spot for pleasure anglers to enjoy an evening on the bank.

Night Fishing is not permitted on this water.
